  • 1995 Argentine Grand Prix, at the Autódromo Oscar Alfredo Gálvez in Buenos Aires. Formula One returned to Argentina after a 14 year absence.

Damon Hill dominated the weekend, taking pole and converting it into a confident victory for Williams-Renault. Teammate David Coulthard initially challenged but spun, allowing Michael Schumacher’s Benetton and Gerhard Berger’s Ferrari to fight for podium positions.

Schumacher finished second, while Coulthard recovered to take third. The race was physically demanding due to high temperatures and a bumpy surface, testing both drivers and machinery. Overall, the event delivered competitive racing and strong crowd enthusiasm for F1’s comeback.
