Sadly the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix is remembered for all the wrong reasons. During practice and qualifying, several serious incidents occurred. Rubens Barrichello and Roland Ratzenberger cashed, resulting in Ratzenberger loosing his life.
During the race itself, on lap 7. Ayrton Senna crashed on Tamburello Corner.
The race itself restarted after an early collision that injured spectators, and Michael Schumacher ultimately won.
